tecways has enjoyed many years of close cooperation with several of its telecommunications-provider customers. This cooperation has given tecways extensive real-world experience in GSM mediation, especially in the integration of OSS/BSS components and with various Network Elements.

tecways helped to ensure, that a customer's transition to a new BSS vendor went as painlessly as possible by strategic mediation at the billing and customer-care system interfaces.  The Collection and Provisioning streams were adapted so that the old and new BBS could be operated in parallel during the conversion period. This allowed a safe, incremental transition.

Furthermore, new Network Elements (MSCs and HLRs) from new manufactures were added to the ON concurrently to the BSS changeover and seamlessly integrated into the new BSS.

Quick delivery, configuration and integration of a new provisioning mediation system enabled a tecways customer to realize their accelerated introduction schedule for a new Customer Administration platform.

The system accepts customer service orders (new customers as well as status and service modifications) and mediates them to the HLRs according to the requirements of the customer network. Though the time frame was very short, the integration of the mediation system was completed in time by tecways to the complete satisfaction of the customer.
